Jodie Bricout has over 15 years’ experience working with industry in Australia, Dubai and Europe on sustainability, life cycle thinking and the circular economy.
Jodie was responsible for developing and coordinating Northern France’s circular economy strategy and was a cities and governments member of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s CE100. This meant that she worked with 100 of the planet’s leading corporates, emerging innovators, governments, cities, and higher learning institutions to collaborate around the circular economy.
Since coming back to Adelaide in 2016, she has led the team engaged by Green Industries South Australia to evaluate the potential impacts of transitioning to a circular economy for SA and is working with clients from cities and states to multinationals and social enterprises to get a handle on the circular economy.
In 2017 Jodie co-founded Loop Circular Economy Platform – a not-for-profit that instigates change toward a circular economy through raising awareness, business-focussed training, and collaborative projects. Jodie is also circular economy manager at leading consultancy, lifecycles, Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide’s School of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering and Research Affiliate at Flinders University’s Australian Industrial Transformation Institute.
